I am excited to announce that I have a live calligraphy performance scheduled at Asian Art Museum in October 2012. Titled as "New Traditions: Simula x Gen," the performance will be in collaboration with a Phillipino calligrapher Christian Cabuay. We will be performing a large-scale live calligraphy, presentation and assisting workshops.
１０月１９−２１日の３日間に渡り、サンフランシスコアジア美術館にてパフォーマンス披露、プレゼンテーション、ワークショップを開催する運びとなりました。今回は１０月からオープンする中国書展にちなみ、AsiaLiveというイベントシリーズにて、前衛的な書道アートをコンテンポラリーアート界において追求／提示しているアーティストとしてフィリピーノ書道アーティストChristian Cabuayとのコラボレーションパフォーマンスを披露します。伝統芸術を現代へ。古くから伝わる独特の二つの異なる言語が織りなす哲学、詩の世界をライブで綴ってゆきます。
